If your car gets vandalised - sort it out yourself, not through the courts!

Last year some pissed up fuck-wit decided to smash the hell out of my S14a with a shovel for reasons unknown other than he was "involutarily intoxicated".

Tried to claim on insurance which was financially un-viable but thats another story....

Eventually won £1500 compensation of which I was told I'd get a £10 per week... over a year later I've received a total of £52.94 (work that one out!)

After numerous phone calls to the courts I have today found out that he'll be arrested for non-payment of fines but they haven't got his current address....... if he get a custodial sentence he'll serve maybe one month (at most) and I don't get a penny more from him!

Now I'm sure I can find out where this fucker lives and get payment (or items to value of) from him myself but fear the Law will turn against me if I take such action.

I'm so fucked off that someone can get caught red-handed, by police, smashing up a vehicle, whilst pissed up and end up basically getting away with it. Leaving the vehicle owner with a fucked motor and no means of re-couping money from the guy who did it to pay for damage done.

So, take my advice guys - if this ever happens to you deal with the c*nt personally (at least you'll get some satisfaction even if you don't get any payment)

Just a warning that handling things like this the 'right' way doesn't work when dealing with down & out scum bags.
